The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff’s training, professional credentials and work experience.

Annelise Hardin, DDS, MS
Dr. Hardin grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and graduated from Chapel Hill High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University, where she double majored in Biology and Psychology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Dr. Hardin continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was named chief resident, and earned her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry and her Master of Science degree.

Dr. Hardin is a recipient of the prestigious Richard Pugh Award. She was recognized at the Annual American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Meeting for scoring in the top 3% in the country on her Pediatric Board Exam.

In 2008, Dr. Annelise Hardin achieved Diplomat Status as a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Hardin's husband, Scott Hardin, is a general dentist practicing in Durham. They have two children, Will and Charlotte.

Research
Dr. Hardin’s master’s thesis was entitled Oral Health Knowledge of Caregivers in a Primary Care Setting. Her work centered on the necessary relationship between medical and dental professionals in the effort to educate caregivers about dental health.

Ashley Blake - Dental Assistant
Ashley grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and currently lives in Graham. Ashley comes to us prepared, as she is a mother of two little boys, Dayton and Levi. Ashley's gentle nature helps children feel comfortable and at ease. We are happy to have Ashley on our team!

 

 

 


Shandelyn Wilson - Dental Assistant
Shandelyn grew up in Yanceyville, NC. She comes to us with many years of nannying experience, and is a great fit for our office as she enjoys working with children of all ages. Shandelyn enjoys spending time with her family, and going to the beach.



 

 

Erin Wall - Dental Assistant
Erin grew up in Hillsborough, NC. She is a graduate of Alamance Community College with an Associate Degree and a Degree in Dental Assisting. Erin enjoys spending time with her family and going to the mountains. We are very happy to have Erin on our team!

 

 

 



Julie Smith - Dental Assistant
Julie grew up in Graham, NC. She comes to us with eight years of experience. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves being a mommy to her daughter Bailey. Julie is a great addition to our team!
